Ronald D. Gaitros, DDS, MS
Dr. Gaitros received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating summa cum laude. He was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago and did his internship at Cook County Hospital. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery while concurrently earning a Master's Degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While at UNC, Dr. Gaitros was involved in extensive studies in bone healing, and he completed comprehensive research at Kiel, Germany.
Dr. Gaitros practices a broad scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including wisdom teeth extraction, dental implants, bone grafting, jaw surgery, TMJ treatment, maxillofacial reconstruction and dentoalveolar surgery. He is board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
