I was told the procedure was covered by insurance, it wasn’t. I was billed a ridiculous amount, about 5 times what’s normal. It appears this is the business model as a collections agency is apparently part of the process. Do your research and go elsewhere as this is a highly unethical practice. The facilities are terrible but when you’re already in pain you don’t have much of a choice.

Completely unethical and dishonest. Poor facilities.

Dr Gertsch billed me over $50,000 for a hemorroid procedure. I have two PPO insurances. He told me the procedure would be completely covered. None of it was. I was triple billed with nebulous huge amounts with no explanation. I had to have the surgery redone because veins were hanging out of me when he got done. The insurance companies asked for a breakdown and never got it and I was immediately sent to collections.

Fraudulently charged me more than the areas average and then sent me to collections without contacting me 2 years later

I was just billed $275 for my "free' consultation.
