Waited for WEEKS to get results of stress test and what further action to take. One day Dr. Gim just showed up to do procedure and STILL didn’t tell me what was going on. Berated staff out in the open. NOT A NICE MAN!!!

Dr. Gim has some comments that speak to his bedside manner. Frankly when it comes to my health I want honesty. That is what you get with Dr. Gim. He delivers what you need to know the right way so you can make sound decisions for the future. There are some people out there that want bad news wrapped in chocolate but that's not how it goes. He is a great cardiologist and he cares about his patients.

His bedside manner has't gotten any better. He is still very flippant, rude and arrogant. He dismissed my mom's pain twice now. She took a stress test and he didn't even show up to see how she's doing. We're looking into other cardiologists for her.

Dr. Gim gave me excellent counsel when I entered ER with chest pains. Initial on call ER doctor was NOT a cardiologist, and it took some time for Dr. Gim to review my records. When he did he recommended angiogram, based on my T. enzyme level of .255 and previous history of a stent. Angiogram showed no significant blockage and I was released from hospital same day. I felt confident he treated me in best way possible, with clarity, patience, good communication and bedside manner. I would recommend him to cardiac patients.

He was very snippy and self absorbed. I would never recommend him to anyone because of his poor "bedside" manner.

I paid for a full ultrasound/echo stress test of my heart in 2007 because heart issues run in my family. This doctor informed me my heart was fine. Despite the cost and supposed thoroughness of the test, he failed to discover my bicuspid aorta, which dissected in 2011.
