Dr. Ronald David Hart, MD

Dr Hart listens and really seems to care. The problem is his office staff is terrible at following through with setting up important tests.

I have been going to Dr. Hart for many, many years. He is the nicest and most compassionate doctor that I've ever been to. He listens and gets to the root of your problems.

My entire family goes to Dr. Hart and he always listens and is compassionate.

Long waits 1,5 to 2.00 hours routinely. No follow through with crucial Specialist Referrals. I have been waiting for 4 weeks to get a CT scan his staff do not follow through with insurance or providers. They have lost paperwork I brought them on at least two occasions that need Doctor attention. I spoke to my insurance and the provider who stated it was up to Dr. Hart to list the Medical Necessity and get the Referral approved. I have been double billed by the Lab they use at this office the staff are zero help with any of these problems. The pharmacy can not process Testing strips I need because his office has not filled out the necessary paperwork so the insurance will cover. The list goes on and on. The total incompetence of this office is dangerous for patients that have serious medical needs. I came to this practice 9 months ago because I had a serious medical issue that still is not resolved. This operation is a Dog and Pony Show Revolving around Boston Heart Lab (that… are not in the service area for most insurance). If for some reason you do not have your labs the staff go into over load and do not know what to do with you neither does Hart. If ask to be Referred outside of Rideout Providers to a specialist forget about that. After he agrees to make the referral it never happens no matter how many times you call to check the Status. Same story from staff they are still working on it after a month of waiting. I would not advise anyone with a serious medical history to go to this Doctor. The Bottom line is the provider has way to many patients to honestly care for his patients appropriately.

Needs more experienced office staff.

Doc can be good if his focus wasn't on how much money you can bring in instead of your health.

We haven't had our follow up yet... only reason for the one star.

Health and wellness is a great place, good doctors and friendly staff

The business timings are from 6 AM to 5PM to grab patients who don't want to miss work and get their exams done prior to usual business hours of 8 AM . The intent is frustrating to the patients as almost 20 patients get into the check-in line between 6AM to 6:30 AM, everybody waiting to be seen by the doctor who only shows up after almost an hour. The procedures of preliminary exam, chat with the lab staff and reception are just gimmicks for the doctor to buy time. I asked for specific tests only but was shocked to see a fat bill in the mail as he had referred me to quest diagnostics ( the doctors get paid for referrals) for all the possible tests on human body including allergy, environmental and a hoard of others I never heard. If you say you don't need particular test, he would scare you so bad as if you are going to die in a few months and puts you in a dilemma under the pretext of being caring and concerned. I would not recommend him for patients who believe in themselves… and rather take a second opinion. Thanks for reading my candid comments.
