It is due to a most unfortunate diagnosis that brings a patient to visit one of the world's experts in blood disease. If you are lucky enough to live near Mt Sinai hospital in New York City, you are lucky to be surrounded by world class medical experts of every kind. Dr. Hoffman is one of the world's best. All of Dr. Hoffman's patients, including me, love this gentle, thoughtful kind and very very smart man. His every utterance gives a patient confidence that you are finally in the right hands and in the right hospital. The nurses and assisting doctors are all polite, professional., caring and highly expert in the treatments given here.. As noted by many patients, they are delivering care in one of the largest hospitals in the world and the waiting room is filled with scores of patients from dawn to dusk. Waiting is inevitable; and waiting can be quite long, despite appointments. Live with it-stop complaining. Make time to treat yourself to the best care, even if it seems they have… been giving out free concert tickets in the waiting room. The best possible care is worth waiting for.

Although I rated this physician poorly for ease of getting an appointment and for the waiting time, when you do finally visit with him, he makes you feel there is no one else in the waiting room. He is extremely caring and knowledgeable.
