Been going to doctor Hofman for 21 years and he’s the best doctor there is. Truly a incredible doctor.

We have seen Dr Hofman for years now and I couldn't ask for a better Dr for my kids! He is the best!

Dr. Hofman was my pediatrician from birth until I was in middle school. As a young kid he did a good job keeping us comfortable even with getting shots and throat swabs, I had alot of pharyngitis and ear infections as a kid so I went there often and the entire staff made it as pleasant an experience as a doctor visit can be

He was my ped. As well as my sons! He's wonderful at explaining things, very personable which honestly some doctors are not at all. He is truly an amazing man and extremely humble!!

He is amazing and so is the entire staff that works there. When you call in you actually speak to a person NOT a recording. Everyone is very prompt and wait time is extremely minimual. On top of all of those benefits Dr Hofman is an excellent doctor that actually cares about his patients and we have never felt like just a number.

He is a great guy and truly caring. He was my Dr. as a kid and now my kids are going to see him. Very personable and caring.

I would highly recommend Dr. Hofman to any parent. He was my pediatrician growing up, as well as my husband's, and we have been thrilled to have him as our children's doctor. He remembered each of us when we had our first child and was so excited to see us. He remembers our parent's names and our family medical history. He saved my brother-in-law's life when he was a week old.He is proactive about my children's health and also has a lot of practical advice. He always tells me what to expect and what to look out for. I have asked him many, many questions and he always takes the time to explain to me what is going on medically and why he recommends what he recommends. He is not afraid to tell me what is best for my children, even if it isn't what I was planning on doing or wanted to do. I have called his office probably every few months or so to ask questions when I have concerns about my young children and the nurses are very helpful. Dr. Hofman truly loves children and cares… about them and is on guard for their health.

He's a great doctor and I really am able to trust him. I would recommend him to anyone. He came to a former nurse's of his funeral and was comforting to the family. Overall, he's a really great guy and doctor.

Dr. Hofman has been our family's pediatrician since our son was born in 2000. He was referred by my O/B (whose kids go there) and our labor and delivery nurse. Through the years he has gotten to know and care for our children. He saved my daughter's life when she was 6 days old and kept me calm and focused in an emergent situation. He wasn't afraid to give us all the facts and he isn't afraid to disagree with you if necessary. He genuinely cares about your family.

Dr. Hofman is one of the best pediatricians in Grand Rapids. I highly recommend him to any first time parent. After dealing with many specialists throughout our daughter's surgery, all of them told us (off the record) that HIS practice is THE place to get into. He is very knowledgeable, personable and proactive. He not only considers the health of your child currently, but also looks out for problems that could crop up in their adult years (i.e. preventative cholesterol screens). I have PCOS, and there is a likelihood our daughter will have it too. Dr. Hofman and I have already talked about ways to treat it when she reaches puberty. He's also very humble and will tell you when he DOESN'T have the answer to your question. My daughter was diagnosed with a coronal synostosis, and while the radiology report told Dr. Hofman it was Plagiocephaly, he insisted on a second opinion. Fortunately we caught it in time for her to benefit greatly from surgery.
