During my thyroidectomy he cut my nerve that controls my right vocal cord. He doesn't talk much, so it's hard to get information out of him!

Hernia repair with mesh went smoothly. Dr. Jackson competent, professional & informative. Office, examination & waiting room comfortable. Staff efficient & friendly. On time for appointments - no waiting. St. Francis South excellent. Yoga, Sit-ups & push-ups with no pain 4th week after surgery.

What should have been a fairly routine appendectomy, has turned into a lengthy painful recovery during which a nasty abscess developed. Then a revisit to the ER, and a lengthy painful hospital stay. All this because doctor God just couldn't lower himself to listen to his patient or answer such a simpletons' questions. When a patient tells you that he is sick during a surgery follow up you might want to listen and not just comment "thats normal" Ah, who cares, right? It all bills out the same.

He has done surgery on my husband twice and me once. He is amazing. No infection, no complications what so ever. He used 2 different surgical sites for us. Both places were very nice, professional and clean. I must say I am very impressed with St.Francis South and their staff. Also from what I understand he does not allow students in the OR. No worries about someone learning on you. I also understand he has certain standards that the OR staff must meet for him. I love that. He won't let average slide. I can't say enough good things. Also his in office nurse (Kim)is with the program and understands patients needs. She is the one who schedules you for in office and surgical and she calls you back. I highly recommend Dr. Jackson as a general surgeon! Oh and in case you are wondering I am JUST a satisfied patient. No affiliation what so ever.

I had 1 colon cancer polob and Dr Jackson cut out the wrong section on my colon and then had to cut open my chest to find the correct area, It took 58 staples to close my chest. I had to spend a week in the hospital.

Dr. Jackson was amazing when I was in the hospital. No one wants to go through a surgery, but Dr. Jackson left my wife and feeling extremely comfortable. He was compassionate, thorough, and had amazing bedside manner.

I had cushing syndrome which required a right adrenalectomy. The initial visit was quick and to the point with no time for questions. The surgery went well, but the follow-up was horrible. I was beginning to get very ill prior to my follow-up appointment. However Dr. Jackson told me I was fine and sent me on my way. 10 days after the surgery, I was taken to the local emergency room and was later transported by ambulance to Tulsa. The nurse told me that my sodium level was "not compatible" with life. I spent 4 days in the hospital while they tried to get me back to normal. My right adrenal gland had been removed because it was producing too much cortisol and apparently the left one had shut down and was not producing any at all. My body started shutting down due to the lack of cortisol. Again, the lack of proper care after surgery could have cost me my life.

I had surgery with this doctor five years ago and I am still having problems. Have had 5 surgeries to correct his first surgery

This doctor has been practicing medicine too long. He has lost all concern for his patients and their well being!
