For anyone out there needing heart surgery do yourself a favor see Dr. Leidenfrost at St. Lukes Hospital. He made my quintuple bypass surgery easier than having a tooth pulled ! What Jack Lalane is to fitness Dr. Leidenfrost is to Thoracic Surgery ! I jokingly asked him if he ever played the game operation as a kid without making the buzzard sound ? All of his answers were great ! I am in my 2nd week of recovery and Im back to work already with very little pain. What I liked about Dr. Leidenfrost the most was that he tells you everything precisely and in detail upfront with no additives or make believe stories. The entire staff was awesome they made me feel like I was on a mini vacation. (They can even play your type of music during the operation ?)I remember assistant surgeon Heidi asking me for my favorite song ? I couldn't believe it ? They had my mind off balance on easy street!I first chose U2 Beautiful Day which I thought was fitting but changed last minute to the Dr's favorite… type of classical. I thought that was better since he was the one who would be listening . By the way all of my scars have completely healed too ! Thanks again Dr. Leidenfrost for giving me the opportunity to be a longer living father and husband to my wife and three small children. Please never retire to that island you said you were moving too before I die!
