Dr. Ronald Mark Levy, MD

There is the good, the bad and then there is Levy...WOW. I have NEVER had the displeasure of dealing with such an incompetent doctor AND his staff. 1) on 2 occasions failed to call in prescriptions 2) failed to note follow up appt so when I arrived they couldn't see me 3) billed Medicare TWICE (I'm guessing that was NOT an error) 4) never called me or reported results of extensive blood work up until I made TWO requests for same DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THIS GUY IF YOUR HALTH (OR SANITY) IS IMPORTANT TO YOU !

my insurance informed me that I was due for a routine colonoscopy - the day of the procedure, I woke up to be told the colonoscopy could not be performed because the colon had stool and he could not see. He tried to reschedule with me that minute without consulting with my insurance. I caution him not to and that I would contact my insurance company first - I did and they informed me I would have to pay for the entire procedure myself and that it would not be covered. I opted not to get another procedure as I do not have a history of polyps or any problems. I then get a bill from Dr. Levy for extra doctor visit as well as told from his billing office that I had this procedure done because I have a history of Polyps which I don't, I am now fighting an overcharge by his office. No one picks up the phone at the Boca Raton office where I scheduled the procedure - And it appears that this office has a history of this type of overcharges

Great bedside manner, smart, nice, cares, smart. I feel safe and trust him.

Dr. Levy is a caring, knowledgeable physician. When I went to his office, initially I was very nervous, however both he and his staff made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Levy spent the time with me to hear about my issues and concerns, and with a thorough yet expeditious work up, he has made a huge impact on my overall well being. He genuinely cares for his patients . I would highly recommend Dr. Levy to anyone who needs a gastroenterologist.

even if you have you all you test in JFK wanted to do everything again to charge you insurance be aware ...they care less about the waiting, and the staff wasting time, no courtesy. they treat you like a piece a ....

After suffering with non-stop nausea for a few months and being mis-diagnosed by 2 other physicians, finally I saw Dr. Levy who made a correct diagnosis and put me on proper treatment. I found him to be very kind and to take the time to explain my problem to me. I would recommend Dr. Levy to anyone in need of a gastroenterologist.
