Dr. Ronald P Miller, MD

I have been a transplant patient for over 20 years for both kidney and pancreas transplants. I have been treated buy more doctors than I can possibly remember in my lifetime from Baltimore to Hershey. This guy is the best physician I have ever encountered. In todays world of insane medical insurance and requirements if I had to drop Dr. Miller from my plan and was forced to go elsewhere I would still stay with him and just pay cash. No one gets more frustrated with the medical game than I but Dr. Miller possesses the qualities that no other physicians I have do. For one, he cares! He actually is concerned for his patients and doesn't treat you like a 10 minute space of time before he moves to the next person. If he feels another department or doctor did something wrong he gets fired up and he follows through. His knowledge on what he does is exceptional. I trust and follow anything that comes out of his mouth. Without asking I can sense that this man stays on top of everything that is… happening in the medical field and does his homework. He didn't just get his medical degree and decide to stop learning. If he doesn't know the answer to a question (which is rare), he will find out. He never hurries you out the door even though his time is extremely valuable and daily tasks overwhelming. He makes you feel like his only patient. The staff is wonderful. Great bedside manner, incredible insight and knowledge. A real keeper. Dr. Ronald Miller is a key part of my ability to deal with all the medical problems I have and a 5 star member of the Hershey Medical Center. There is no one better. As someone who has been in and out of hospitals my entire life and has also worked in the medical field (but not as a physician), when you mention the name Ronald Miller, people know the name. It amazes me and very impressive.
