Dr. Ronald Kent Nudelman, MD

Dr. Nudelman has been my primary care doctor for a while now. I honestly don't know what I would do without both the BEST DOCTOR EVER and the AMAZING JUDY. They both work so hard to provide the absolute best care for their patients...and they actually care, a lot. I found this to be quite rare in previous experiences. I never dread my appointments, but quite the opposite. I always look forward to seeing my two favorite medical providers. Judy works so hard to keep the office running perfectly. She is always on top of referrals and always aims to get the best provider, not just the first or easiest one. I also can't say enough positive things about Dr. Nudelman! He's not only an impeccable provider, but he also is an incredible person. I leave the office always cracking up and in great spirits. It's like seeing family at this point, and I will be a forever patient of Dr. Nudelman. Judy styles the office so great & always has such a warm and non sterile feeling. Plays great music and… always has a smile on. Not to mention she is so incredibly knowledgeable and great at everything she does (literally I never feel anything when she draws my blood- she is seriously magical!).

I saw him for a short time. Although, he is seemingly quite knowledgeable in the area of nephrology, I stopped going to him because he was dismissive and not interested in having a detailed clinical conversation about my CKD and treatment. I've worked in healthcare for over 10 years, a graduate degree and in clinical settings working with several hundreds of physicians and RNs as a consultant for years. The only interest of conversation he seemed to want to have was about what athleticism I may have had some 30+ plus years ago based on my size and fitness. My guess...I'm a big Black man, and having more detailed conversation about my CKD, is something I guess he didn't feel I was capable of having. I was not interested in a sports conversation about what I have done as a young man, of football talk in general. Maybe the next patient who happens to be a Black man will get more respect than I was given.

His sense of humor is ok. But he went into my diagnosis saying, "I don't think we'll find anything." When I asked about the inexplicable sudden wight gain, he said, "eat less." None of this actually helped to determine why I gained 25% weight in 3 months time.

My new Dr. Very funny and down to earth. I like him a lot.
