Dr. Ronald Dennis Patrick, MD

Very poor excuse for being a doctor, I've never experience a impatient doctor like this before in my whole entire life. I had surgery on a hernia and they use a mesh. I asked questions about the mesh before i wen under and all i got was a sarcastic respond, that he has been doing this for twenty years, with no problems. Either you can get the mesh or not. Well he nurse that was assisting me said that I asked some good questions. Well I went back to him after the surgery two weeks later no how you doing are nothing. Just left up your shirt. So i did he then took out the two stitches, and told me to come back in four weeks no lifting over 10 pounds. I really wanted to ask questions, but with his attitude bad behavior for being and unconcern doctor. I choose not to, so instead i called back and talked to the front desk clerk. She explain to me that I had a big size hernia, and that they had to use a bigger piece of mesh. He thought it was two hernias at fist because he didn't take the… time to do a ex ray or a MRI. So there for he did surgery without knowing what he was facing, and I didn't know because I'm not a sergeant. I came back for my 6 weeks check up had to pay 547 dollars before I seen the doctor, just to almost get kicked out because i told him my body was feeling funny after the surgery. He told me that didn't come from him, and to go BACK TO MY PRIMARY DOCTOR. I was in a state of shock! Then he told me to let him take a look a my stomach remember every office visit i had I was always sitting on a chair, he never invited me to set on the examine bed. Which i thought was absolutely ridiculous. Then he looked at my stomach never touched it to see if his work was completed are anything. i had a very bad experience, and I beg you all not to never let this doctor take care of you he's a MAD DOCTOR!

In the less than 5 minutes actually spent with him after waiting close to 2 hrs I found him to be arrogant, acerbic and condescending. I realized quite quickly that I didn't want him doing my surgery. He never even made eye contact with me. I don't know why he is in the medical field because he is definitely not interested in treating patients as human beings.

Dr. Patrick is arrogant and condescending. I saw him today for a follow up after having an MRI. He apparently was hacked because I had the MRI without contrast (instead of with) which is what my insurance company authorized. I paid a $45 copay and I was in his presence for less than 2 minutes. The first words out of his mouth when he walked into the room were "Why did you refuse the contrast?" Not "Hello" or "How are you today?" My reply was "Because my insurance company would not pay for it." He didn't even look at the MRI which I had on a disc; he read the written report. If I could give him a big fat 0 rating, I certainly would. I have never had a doctor behave like this.

Sent to this doctor by referral from ER PHYSICAN. Upon arrival and visit with Doctor he acted like I was interrupting his afternoon. Said I needed surgery (of course). Will only perform surgery if I pay $1270.00 up front because I haven't meet my deductible with my health insurance. Very honest that they want money first. Health and well being of me was of least concern. Seeking 2nd opinion....

Every time I go to his office, I have an appointment, but still have to wait at least 30 minutes to even be called to the desk to pay my copay. The last time I went in, my appointment time was 9:00 am, I signed in at exactly 9:00 am. At 9:30 I was called to the desk to pay my copay, I asked how long it would be and was told that there was three people ahead of me, why? The office doesn't open until 9:00, I was there at my scheduled appointment time, why was there three people before me? I left without seeing the doctor, because I run my business and I don't have time to sit in the doctors office half of the day. Doctors seem to think that their time is more important than ours, WRONG!!!!!Dr. Patrick is a fine doctor, if he would learn to keep to his schedule and see his patients on time.
