Dr. Ronald Chester Pawlowski, DO

I was able to make an appointment on last minute notice due to an urgent matter and the office staff was very courteous and friendly, didn't have to wait too long to be seen by Dr Pawlowski. He is a very knowledgeable, personable, excellent doctor. Takes time to explain everything. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Pawlowski for about 2 years now. He was highly recommended to me by another doctor I saw when we first moved back to Illinois. Our experience with this doctor and the staff has been wonderful. We have never had a problem getting an appointment when needed and everyone there has been so helpful. I haven't been able to trust very many doctors in years but I trust this one. He is one of the rare breed of doctors that really seems to care about his patients and follows up on things and reminds us if necessary on any health issues we need to address.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. P for years and think he is great! I don't know what was going on in other reviews on here but he has always been courteous, thoughtful, thorough, kind, and prompt. I have little trouble scheduling appointments. He even leave his cell phone number to call in emergencies (we had to use it once late on a Saturday night and he was very accommodating, understanding and helpful). Wait times at his office are nothing compared to other places I go for services. We moved out of the area and have still maintained him, as we are so satisfied with services.

Getting an appointment is almost impossible due to the minimal hours the doctor keeps. At my last appointment, the dr. did not even exam me. He diagnosed me based on verbal information I gave to him. Possibly since I have been a patient for a long time but still not acceptable.

I saw Dr. Pawlowski, prepared with a laundry list of symptoms. He never performed a physical of any kind, but ordered blood work. When blood work came back fine, I received a certified letter refusing further treatment unless I saw a pshychiatrist, that his diagnosis was depression and he was "uncomfortable" in treating me. Now seven months later, I sought another primary doctor who diagnosed a watermelon-sized tumor that requires immediate surgery and hysterectomy, and validates the laundry list of every symptoms that somehow made HIM uncomfortable. Heaven forbid HE be uncomfortable when a patient walks with a dozen horrible symptoms. I find his utter disregard, disinterest and betrayal of my trust absolutely despicable and appalling. YOU are what is wrong with our medical system, Dr. Pawlowski. YOU could have spared me MONTHS of pain and anguish with a simple physical, just an ounce of compassion and engaging interest. You certainly had no problem in charging me $150 for… twenty minutes of your time. I am reporting you to every governing agency I can get my hands on.

Dr. Pawlowski is a wonderful doctor. My family has been with him since the beginning of his practice. He has always been right with his diagnosis. He is a very caring doctor.
