This doctor saved my life! His exams are quick because he has been doing this a long time and is a professor of his craft… Some of the reviews that are negative don’t seem to understand that. He is the best of the best! I will be forever grateful for this doctor!!!

Honestly meeting this man changed my life. I had the same doc for 13 years kept telling me I had a kidney infection. Came to Loyola for ER best thing I did, I met him three weeks later he removed two large cyst and a hysterectomy. I felt more comfortable with him then my female doc in 13 years!

I was referred to Dr. Potkul by my ob Dr. I had what she thought was endometriosis on my ovary. I was given a cancer blood test that came back a bit higher then normal. I was nervous to hear the word Oncologist. Dr. Potkul and his nurses and residents were all very kind and knowledgeable. He reassured me that he was pretty sure it was not cancer, but the only way to tell was to remove the ovary. I had laparoscopic surgery and it was as he said endometriosis. I had very little pain and healed fast after surgery! What a great Dr! His residents and nurses clearly wanted to be there working and learning from him. Thanks so much for a job well done!

I had surgery and was in pain weeks later and was told "oh well you should be better go to another doctor". He's only there for the check.

Dr. Potkul treated me for Stage 3A Vulvar Cancer in 2010, and I thank God I was referred to him. He is a kind, caring physician who uses his God-given talents in gynecologic oncology and provides personalized care in an extraordinary manner. Top 1% of doctors in my opinion!

I was petrified when I went to see Dr Potkul. He was kind and considerate and took care of me. He performed laproscopic hysterectomy when my doctor of 25 years said it could not be done because of scar tissues I had from 4 c sections. I recommend Dr Potkul with my heart and soul. He is the absolute best!!! He did the surgery in less than 2 hours and I feel great!

I went to Dr Potkul needing a second opinion. I was terrified I had cancer and needed surgery. He put me at ease with his excellent bedside manner. He took care of me and reassured me I would be fine. I still am 5 years later. I trust him like no other.
