Dr. Ronald Riggins
Dr. Ronald Riggins is a life-long resident of the Quad Cities, graduating from Moline High School. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa and the University of Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from the University of Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine, he completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in the U.S. Army. He graduated as the Honor Graduate. Dr. Riggins then served 3 years in charge of an Army Dental Clinic in Germany. He then returned to Moline and assumed the practice of his father-in-law, Dr. Ralph Horton.
Dr. Riggins truly enjoys the art and science of dentistry. He completes extensive continuing education courses annually and belongs to two local study clubs. Dr. Riggins is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Rock Island District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is currently the president of the Rock Island District …Dental Society. He serves as a delegate to the Illinois State Dental Society and as a member of the Committee on Insurance. He also serves on the Give Kids a Smile Advisory Board. Dr. Riggins has served on several charitable boards in the community. He is currently the president of the Moline Breakfast Optimist Club, and is a past president of the Moline Public Schools Foundation.
Dr. Riggins and his wife, Amy, have two amazing, beautiful children. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, boating, skiing, and reading. He also enjoys coaching youth soccer.
