Dr. Ronald David Rush, MD

Wont give you a refill unless you come back to add additional cost. Will force you to take unnecessary lab. Currently have high blood pressure but was given a diet pill that raises blood pressure

I have been going to the clinic for over a year now and have yet to see Dr. Rush or his wife. I have only seen the nurse practioneer. I have been somewhat satisfied until the last visit. Went in for routine bloodwork and didn't even see the nurse, but was charged $900 for something That I didn't have done. . . looking for a NEW DOCTOR!

I have been going to Dr. Rush for years!! He is the only doctor that I trust. He has a great bedside manner and a wonderful wife named Lori that is a P.A. They have always been very good to me and my family and very thorough. They counseled me when my dad was passing and I will never forget how they got me through it. Not only are they great doctors they are compassionate also.

Dr. Rush has long wait times. He is ofter over booked. They always charge you to come back and get your results. He perscribed me antiseziure meds to loose weight. When my blood pressure got to low 68/46 he acted as if it was no big deal and would not tell me if I need to come in for a vist , go to the ER, or what to do. I called a friend of mine who is a doctor and he told me that I needed to go to the ER right away.

Overall this place is really good. I needed a new doctor and thought it would be a few weeks. They were able to get me in right away. The waiting room was really nice. The check in lady was also nice. I saw a nurse practitioner at first and then Dr. Rush came in. Gotta say I was impressed. I have been back several times and it just gets better.Dr. Rush is the real deal. Thanks

I read several on-line reports and checked with co-workers and friends before I set my appointment. With the exception of a few strange on-line reports, everything I heard was good. I'm glad I went. Very professional staff, very modern office and overall great experience. I have been to this office four times in the last six months and it is always the same great experience. I have a fairly complicated medical problem and I feel like this office really understands that. There are a lot of good doctors out there but Dr Rush is on Top. You can trust that.

This is by far the worst doctors office that I have ever been to. I went by for a yearly checkup and it went fine. They told me to come back in to pick up my results and I thought nothing of it. My insurance covers checkups, but Dr. Rush's office tricks you and makes you come in a second time which doesn't fall under the checkup. They charged me $150 to come in, pick up my results and talk to somebody for 2 minutes. They said this is the follow up appointment and must be charged as a doctor's visit. I called twice to talk to somebody about it and they told me Dr. Rush would retunr my call. I waited 2 months, called back, and still haven't received a call. This place is TERRIBLE! Don't ever go here unless it is the LAST option. Many other people I know have had this same experience. Even if you tell them you don't want to come back in, they say you can't get your results. They basically hold your results hostage unless you pay the extra $150. Do not trust this office!

The thing that stands out most to me is the compassion for the patient. He listens and he "HEARS" what you say to him. I have been a patient with Dr.Rush for six years. He is a very good doctor and he catches the things others miss. He does a lot of teaching and goes over labs and results completely and in person. I really like that. He is also very very busy and he has a LOT of patients. I have talked to people in the waiting room that drive in from Dallas and Little Rock to see him. So make sure that if you are in a hurry, you make your appointments early in the morning or close to closing time. Dr. Rush told me once that he would not turn a patient away if that patient felt they needed to be seen. He said he would work as long as he needed to get the job done. I guess that is part of the reason why he has so many patients. I have had to wait sometimes but I have to say that when I am in the exam room, I know that I am important to him. Thanks
