Dr. Ronald Clifford Savin, MD

This review is of the nursing staff and physician's assistant in Dr. Savins office. Dr. Savin removed a benign cyst from my back 2 weeks ago and when he completed the procedure a nurse put stitches in. I went back to Dr. Savin 10 days later to have the stitches removed. The wound opened up but I did not know this happened right there in the office. The physicians assistant did however. He didn't warn me that the stitches didn't work or that the sore was bleeding and exposed. He didn't offer a dressing or advice to take care of the unexpected open wound. I discovered this when I got home and my top had blood on it. I called the office right away and spoke with a nurse. She checked with the P A who would not come to the phone to speak with me. He said it would have to heal itself. He gave no reassurances or recommendations to care for such a deep wound. We emailed a picture so he could see but he was noncommittal and disinterested. I will never use Dr. Savin again because I don't… trust his support staff. Dr. . Savin was not in when I called back, in fact, he was out of the office for a week.

I read negative reviews and I am glad i didn't listen. After 25 years of going to doctor to doctor and being told "there is nothing we can do," Dr Savin sent me for a scalp biopsy. First doctor to even suggest it. I now have an accurate diagnosis and the only known treatment there is for my condition. Whatever you think if him, he knows what he is doing. He tells you like it is. At 80 yo he looks great and I hope I am still working at 80!

The last time I went to Dr Savin he made an appointment from the appointment- so I had to go to the appointment only to find out I had to make another appointment-sorry never again!

He upcodes every visit I have had with him as "expanded" even though he only sees me for less than 5 min to write a prescription refill.

This man lacks even a spec of professionalism. He simply wants the $. It's time for Savin to retire so that other (like myself) don't get diagnosed with a "bug bite" only to find out it is nothing of the sort....from a REAL dermatologist. Yet, he likes to jack up the billing codes and diagnose you with diseases you've never discussed. Check all bill codes once received...then you'll understand. Ladies, bring a 2nd person along...he's inappropriate and you'll leave crying otherwise.
