Doctor Silvius is not only skilled at what he does, but he is a difference maker in handling and managing one's care. I have been with Doctor Silvius for 11 years and I am a better person because of his care and recommendations. Having both Diabetes Type II and heart problems, Doctor Silvius continually reviews my medications with me and recommend changes, additions and deletions best suited to my lifestyle. He always allows for my input and together strategies are implemented. Test results are conveyed back to me explaining the good and bad, with reemphasis not on blame for bad results, information geared towards making a bad result a good one. He schedules my appointments around my itinerary resulting in the optimum results for each appointment. He recommends and schedules my for referrals to other specialists and all of my out patient experiences and appointments have been successful because of his knowledge in knowing what do, where to do it, when to do it, who will be doing… the procedure or appointment, and the particulars of how it should be done. There is no other doctor I would place trust in than Dr. Silvius. The 35 mile drive is worth every penny to me knowing my health has been enhanced by his care and oversight. I would highly recommend this remarkable physician to other patients, young and old. If there were to be Methodists Physicians commercial or similar advertising to show case this physicians skills, compassion, and ability to respond to the need at hand, this is the individual you want as the centerpiece.
