Love, Dr. Steis, efficient, friendly, caring and handsome!

Dr Steis is a careful and well educated Oncologist dedicated to the health and well being of his patients. My wife and I have both been treated by him for different cancers for with marvelous results! His staff is also extremely caring and gets to know everyone and helps make the treatment easier during a scary time. We have been to both the Forsythe and Alpharetta facilities. Both facilities have staff that insure cleanliness and safety for all of their patients.

My experience with dealing with Dr. Steis and his clinic in ACC was extremely bad. This doctor's clinic is very greedy and charges outrageously high fees for something very minor. For my iron deficiency, Dr. Steis recommended to get the IV Iron infusion done, which I already knew that I needed, I just needed a Hematologist sign off so that I can book an appointment with an infusion center. But this doctor insist on getting the infusion done only at his place. I asked how much is the total cost of the procedure but they did not give clear answer. They wanted to charge the whole amount upfront before processing through insurance. I have a very good insurance with United healthcare through my employer. Dr. Steis's financial department is not very transparent to letting you know total cost of the procedure and so that you can understand how much you will need to pay and if it is accurate or not. When I found another infusion center which was affordable for me, Dr. Steis refuses to send… the recommendation to any other center. Rather they ask me to see another Hematologist to get the same diagnosis done. For me it makes no sens, I already paid to Dr. Steis just because I wanted the iron infusion order/letter to setup an appointment. and now his clinic is bullying me into using their infusion center only even though I can get the same procedure done in other center at fraction of the cost. The whole episode of dealing with this doctor has only made my health worst than before. So I would sincerely alert anyone who is thinking of going for this doctor. This is an example of really bad business ethics, to rip people off when they are the most vulnerable. Unfortunately this is the healthcare business of today. I feel sorry for these people and their greediness.

I'm so glad I found Dr. Steis. I have a rare blood cancer and he was very knowledgeable on it. Usually patients must see a specialist in my disease, not a regular hem/onc. He prescribed the right medicine and ordered the right tests. He's easy to talk to and doesn't rush you out the door. I would choose him again.

Dr Steis was referred to me by 2 different MDs. I am very please with the care I have received from Dr. Steis, the technicians and all the nurses in the infusion center. At no time did anyone cause me pain drawing blood or connecting my point access. The experience treating my cancer was more pleasant than I could have ever expected.

Dr, Steis treated my dad's cancer and it was bad. After treatmant all cancer gone. He treated me for breast cancer and I am 14 years in remission, he treated my cousin for throat cancer and saved his vocal chords. He is the best

My husband, James, went to see Dr. Steis after a referral by his PCP. What a wonderful and caring doctor he is. The patience and care given us was excellent. He was diagnosed with tumors in his liver and after 2 CT scans and 1 MRI his tumors miracously were no longer there. Praise God!
