Dr. Ronald Leon Williams, MD

It is time for this man to find a new specialty. Emergency medicine is not the thing for him anymore. My daughter has been diagnosed with gastroparesis. She also had a wreck Five years ago. That she takes pain medicine for. However when she has a gastroparesis flair she cannot keep anything down. We have seen him a few times. He has seen her a few times. This time he decided nothing was wrong with her. He told her that she had been there 15 times and no one has found anything wrong with her. Which is incorrect. This is the second time she has been discharged from Harton to be admitted to another hospital within 24 hours. My daughter has been inpatient since the 3rd. He is not fit to treat patients where he cannot see the injury.

I was a patient of Dr Williams until I was told out of the blue when I came in for my appointment that he was no longer practicing. There was no referral to another doctor, no nothing. Just a “he doesn’t practice around here anymore” with a good luck finding someone else to see. Yet here is an advertisement saying he is still practicing medicine where I live, a bit strange don’t you think? He needs to work on his bedside manner because he insulted and belittled me several times when I didn’t know something. Turns out he came from the same area I was from and granted he is much older than me he failed to take that into account when I said I wasn’t familiar with a bunch of basketball players from my area that he knew. His comment was “well you’re no fun” saying it in a very demeaning snotty way. Also he discussed other patients with me which is supposed to be illegal and at times he’d act very strange and when I asked him what was wrong cause he would stand off in a corner of the room… breathing funny he’d say I just need a minute. So my husband and I sat there in awkward silence for several minutes till he could compose himself then he eventually got to me. And I could understand if it was once in a while but this occurred every time I saw him. And God help you if you didn’t understand something he was talking about or had a question to ask him. He was very rude to my husband as well and my husband was nothing but considerate to the doctor. Doctor Williams needs to find another profession if he can’t handle the job. I hope he actually has given up being a doctor because no one deserves to be treated the way I was.
