Dr. Ronica Meera Mcbrayer, MD

Belittling. Arrogant. Careless. She disregarded my every concern and even went as far as to say what I was experiencing was “impossible”. In my opinion, this women should NOT be practicing.

Dr. McBrayer is a wonderful physician. I am very thankful to have found her. I have been seeing her for 5 years. She is knowledgeable, thorough, easy to talk to, extremely kind and moves calmly yet quickly in emergent situations. She has cared for me through two pregnancies. I highly recommend her. She is an asset to Midland!

Dr. Mcbrayer has been wonderful! She's very attentive and caring. So lucky to have found her.

If you want someone talking down to you, acting like they are better than you, and overall a rude, catty person... she's the one. I can't believe she was recommended to me. There are no other words to describe her other than she is a heartless "mean girl." I would never, EVER let her deliver my baby. I left this practice to get away from her. Beware!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. McBrayer for the last 9 years. I have nothing but the best things to say about her and her staff. They have always been great to me and my family and one of my favorite staff members of Dr. McBrayer is Lina. She remembers all of my kids and she has always made me feel at ease and comfortable as Dr. McBrayer herself has. I have had three miscarriages and they were all heartbreaking and not once did I have an experience where I thought she was dismissive. With everything going on in Midland, I do believe the practice itself has been extremely busy, making it harder on her and her staff and a little upsetting to us patients but that is out of her control in most cases. With that said though, she will always listen to your concerns if you make them well known and if you ask her for extra time to speak with you on those regards. You cant expect her to have a full on hour conversation or read your mind in what it is that you are wanting to hear or listen out. I… know that when I've been confused on a prognosis she or her staff have tried to help me understand it better or given me the resources that will help me understand. I'm sorry for the people who claim to have had bad experiences with her because that hasn't been my case and I have been a patient of hers for the last 9 years. After three miscarriages which two of them happening back to back, she worked to get down to the source of the problem and thanks to God and her I was able to get pregnant this last time and have a successful and viable pregnancy!

Save yourself the heartache and do not go to this woman!

I had a very rough pregnancy (compared to my previous ones) Sickness/throwing up that lasted all the way through the third trimester, back problems and insomnia. I was admitted to the hospital once because I got so sick. I also almost passed out a couple times and was often very faint. Much different than previous pregnancies. I never felt like she cared. She told me to take it easy and when I said that’s hard to do she said “ I know. I’m a mom too” It felt very belittling. It might be normal symptoms but to me it was new and I felt stupid ever bringing stuff up. I wish things were explained to me and that I felt more heard. I feel like she treats everything like I’m just over exaggerating.

My first baby was a surprise, so I didn’t feel like I had time to change doctors but I wish I had! Dr. McBrayer is belittling and very impatient. She misdiagnosed some of the complications with my pregnancy, and it ended up being so much more dangerous and dramatic than it needed to be. When it was time to deliver she would chit chat with the nurses while I was trying to push, it was so distracting. There was not a single moment in her “care” where I felt like she cared at all about me or my child, and I really hope that I never have to see her again.

I went to Dr McBrayer because I heard good things from a friend. My experience was anything but good. She brushed off my concerns about my health history. My mother died of a rare form of endometrial cancer and she refused to perform any tests to check me. When I was going through a miscarriage she basically threw a box of tissues at me and said “you’re going to miss-carry so here are some pills to take.” No sympathy, no explanation, no warmth at all. Her nurses are fantastic but she’s horrible. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone!

Dr McBrayer is very caring, very kind and supportive. She is the only doctor who will sit with me and take her time to listen to all of my concerns instead or rushing through appointments. I'm lucky I have her
