Dr. Ronjay Rakkhit, MD

I was diagnosed by this guy, I won't call him a Dr, with cancer just to find out months later I did not have cancer!! I was being injected in my stomach with what he called chemo treatments. This caused my kidneys to fail and destroyed my stomach lining to the point everything I put in my stomach would burn beyond explaining. I wasnt able to do PD one of the dialysis mobility because of the stomach damage. The same day my kidneys failed he claimed I was in remission. Months later after getting my kidney situation under control, I went to MD Anderson to get check for the so call cancer and I was told I never had it in the first placed. MD Anderson performed monthly test on me for over a years to make sure because I'm on the kidney Transport list, and never did find anything. I'm not upset that I didn't and don't have cancer but I am upset that this guy lied and caused my kidneys to fail. People I will tell you all to be careful with this guy. Get a 2nd opinion for everything he says.… Don't make the same mistake I made, please. This was/is life changing!!

Dr. Rakkhit is a very rude arrogant man. His lack of ethics and care for patients is really concerning. I can see how he may end up in a malpractice lawsuit in the future. He does not care about the health of his patience at all. I’m not sure what has happened in the past two years because he no longer gives 5 star services. I believe if you are a health care professional especially a Dr, you should always put your patience first and hear them out when they are in what’s considered a medical crisis to them. I wouldn’t bother with him as your questions and concerns won’t be answered or taken seriously if it’s not during business hours. Truly disappointing.

First of all, he neglected to mention a tumor on moms spine gives a bunch of fake pat answers and the staff is rude unprofessional, and unorganized. what cancer patient wants to walk into an office and hear DUDE all the time

Dr. Rakkhit gets five stars but his staff gets two. Read a review about him not been personable and rude. NOT ONCE has Dr. Rakkhit has been rude, on the contrary. On my first visit he took an hour to talk to me and explain things. He answered every question I had and more. You can tell he actually cares. I came from MD Anderson and I glad I made the change. Now to his staff. I am conflicted here. The reception has always been very helpful and friendly. I think they problem lies in management. There is absolutely no communication. They never called back, I have had to show up at the office to actually get answers, they never follow up with blood tests. It seems that there are no protocols for the to follow. This could be a great company unfortunately I don't think they know how to manage ppl. Nurses have always been very caring and responsive, so no complains there.

This was my worst experience ever as a patient! I had 4 visits with this doctor. He has poor bedside manner and zero follow through. His staff is rude and disrespectful and disorganized. If you need treatment or care for your own peace of mind, please find another doctor. This doctor looked me in the face and told me that I was healthy and that there are patients who are more in need of his time. And he also stated to me that the office makes no money from my treatment, if only I would imagine how much money it takes to keep the lights on and the staff employed. On top of it all he said these things to me in the presence of another doctor in training/ shadowing him. This is unacceptable and the medical board needs to revoke his license to practice.

I really enjoyed seeing Dr. Rakkhit, he is very personable and a good Dr. But his office staff is horrible, I've had issues over and over with them. Like scheduling an appointment and its not even on the schedule, like scheduling me for the wrong time that we discussed. Now I am getting a bill from them for my co-pay which the Dr. Waived due to all the other issues with customer service. I've call their billing three times and left messages for over two months now and still keep getting the bill, and no call back from the billing. Unfortunately I will have to seek another physician, because I can't deal with the lack of caring from his staff.

I scored a 3 BUT for Dr. Rakkit I do like his openness, forward thinking and positive attitude and promptness in his patient attentiveness. The 3 stars are really because of his staff.. They suck big time! Early on I had an argument with Dr. Rakkit on the phone because of staff. After a recent appointment Dr. Rakkit added a new medicine for me to take. He said it would be once a month and it came from Oncology Pharmacy for once a week. I called to get confirmation/correction on this. Couldn't get thru (they're ALWAYS having phone issues). The answering service came on (at 9-9:30a.m.) and couldn't get thru either. So around 2p.m. today (24 + hrs. later) I decided to drive to the office and have a face to face with the front desk receptionist. Its like talking to a deer in the headlights. I decided to go to another physician with a referral from my oncologist. The front desk gal said to have the new doctor office call them. I told her "that's part of the problem here!" noone… can get thru. she said they're having phone issues, I said that's part of this problem because you're ALWAYS having phone issues. Got thru to her to get my records moved to the new doctor for me. Wish me luck on that!! Dr. Rakkit's nurse came up front and said she'd just called my house and left a message that Dr. Rakkit said I wanted my new meds to be once a week. LIE! We never spoke about that/I never questioned once a month. I believe Lori never spoke to Dr. Rakkit about the issue! I am done! Onward to an office who can professionally handle patients.

I think Dr. Rakkhit is wonderful. He's so friendly and personable. You feel like he's family and you've known him forever. He really makes me feel like I'm in the best hands. I took my friend with me and she felt the same.

Needs training on his bedside manners. Just because some of us busy people do not fulfill your request does not give you the right to treat us like 2 year olds. I thought as a medical profession you are taught to be compassionate. I feel it is up to the individual if they want further testing than they will do so, but don't come at us like you are a dictator of our lives. Yes, you are only concern for your patients but I draw the line at a point where I am still in control of my own body and I will do as I wish with it. If I want to pursue further testing than that is on my. All you had to do was note the patients records and went on with your business instead of making your patient feel miserable about not fulfilling their obligation to visit a specialist.
