Dr. Ronnie Cyzner, MD

I went in for endoscopy and got someone else's colonosopy results. Told me my issue sounded like "a Thursday problem". Said I could get a barium swallow if I wanted to... Said maybe it's Lyme disease, etc. Said he "knew a guy" if I wanted compounded drugs. I'd not be surprised if he wasn't a real Dr.

I recently vizited Carolina Digestive for a procedure done by Dr. Ronnie Cyzner a gastroenterologist in Charlotte, North Carolina From the moment I entered the door to the clinic, I felt welcomed started with the receptionist and everybody medical profesional that has gone above and behind to make feel cared for. Dr. Cyzner and all his staff are friendly and made me and everybody comfortable. It was a very relaxed atmosfere and my experience has been above my expectation.

The title says it all. He really needs to retire as he seems fed up with his practice. He does not listen, barely makes eye contact, and simply gives the impression that you're wasting his time. Maybe he just wants to be on the golf course - if that's the case, he should retire.

Dr. Cyzner really helped me figure out why I felt so horrible all the time! (IBS-A, of course) He very much helped me with my symptoms and took me very seriously throughout the whole visit. I've never been treated so respectfully by a medical doctor. He was able to properly diagnose and treat an intestinal blockage that I had which was becoming extremely severe and causing me extreme pain on the daily. I couldn't even strain my stomach enough to pee without screaming and crying in pain, and I have what I would consider to be a really high pain tolerance (I've had multiple head injuries and been stabbed-- being stabbed really was not bad for me at all, not during or after.) So I would like to leave this review to reccomend him to others. He changed my life for the better, I didn't even know that what i was feeling wasn't normal until when i saw him and explained my symptoms. He is friendly, understanding, relatable, and kind. There are some delays when getting an appointment, due to the… fact he works multiple facilities, but I don't think that problem is on him, I think it's more due to the lack of good GI doctors such as him in our local healthcare system. In addition, the staff is always incredibly friendly and sweet. The receptionists are helpful and very kind. I've never had a bad experience here!

He told the floor nurse supervisor that he had spoken to me and the procedure for my 84 yrs old Aunt was postponed for another day. He held food and fluids for 2 1/2 days. Only after my insistence was she given clear broth. I found out that the delay was due to him leaving the hospital and taking care of patients in another facility. Procedure was performed at 6:20 pm after 6 delays. Nurses stated that they closed the endoscopy suite at 5 to call back the next morning.

So sad. I had his patient for almost 10 years, but he missed a polyp big tumor which end up in colon cancer. I won’t ccommend him

Dr. Cyzner might be a little eccentric (does not shave) but he certainly saved me and my daughter from years of misery. we both had GI problems that had been improperly diagnosed. He made the correct diagnosis and prescribed the proper treatment when others had failed. we glad that we sought his services.

Was a patient for a few years. He's pleasant enough, but doesn't bother to work hard enough to understand the underlying problem, just the symptoms.. So you end up being over prescribed with drugs that make things worse. I had major surgery from my illness and had a bad result on a recent test, He sends in the assistant to talk to me, she of course knows nothing and has to read notes.. He couldnt be bothered to talk to me personally... I passed him in the hall on my way in too.. Not the kind of doctor who has your best interest in mind... needless to say, I moved on.

Dr Cyzner was very dedicated in getting me back to health. He is very compassionate in his expertise, and has excellent bed side manners. I am very grateful for Dr Cyzner!

Everyone at the office was very professional and kind. He got the job done.
