I absolutely adore Dr. Mitchell and drive 45 minutes out of my way to his office. I have decided to find a new doctor because of his front desk/phone clerk. She is condescending and rude. Quite frankly my time with the doctor is so little I don't want to deal with the office staff anymore. Sorry to go but tired of being treated like a child on the phone!

My family wouldn't go anywhere else! Dr. Mitchell is very well liked, personable & genuinely cares for his patients. He gets to the root of medical problems. For the people writing negative reviews about billing or his wife, she is no longer there & maybe they should have talked to their insurance company with complaints! I have dealt with her many times & found her to be pleasant & personable. Don't be negative about the Doctor because you dislike anyone on his staff, he is an excellent doctor and it is him who is treating you, not the billing staff! If your insurance doesn't cover some of the testing tell him & see if it is absolutely essential or simply deny what you can't afford. It is your health & you have the choice!

I've never met this wife and after these reviews have no plans to visit this doctor, but it appears she has made quite an impression. "Witch hunt" defined : "Where a person decides to target another person for reasons which may, or may not, be obvious. It may be a work colleague who decides to undermine and belittle a co-worker, or it could be a person who makes it their objective to slander the reputation of a 'friend' or associate. Essentially, it is a targeted attack against one person, for reasons that are not necessarily tangible. Trying to find someone to target and humiliate."

Why is it that the ONLY complaints about this doctor is $$$? Apparently he trusts his wife to run that part of his business. Besides, I doubt if she is doing anything that he is not aware of. My question is this: "If she is"money hungry" as some has mentioned, does that mean that "You People" aren't paying your bills"??? Would she have to be a "monster" if you PAID the Doctor for the services he renders to YOU???... I'm just saying. I agree with the review that states "It's hard to believe that Dr. Mitchell can be so "GOOD" and his wife be so "BAD". Healthcare costs!!! Go to the "FREE" Clinic if you can't afford to pay Dr. Mitchell's fees!!!

The doctor himself is nice but there are too many great and nice doctors out there where you dont have to deal with their wife.!!!! His wife is a monster in a nightmare. She runs the show, not the doctor. She chooses who she wants to like and be nice too. Very very money hungry on a major power trip. Don't waste your time going to see this doctor.!

My overall experience in dealing with Dr. Mitchell himself was great! I was going to move my entire family to his practice until I had to deal with the Billing Person and receptionist. I was confused on a statement and made the mistake of calling to ask. Because I didn't understand her explanations and the call wasn't going the way she wanted, she HUNG UP the phone on me, she did not say "I am sorry, I am not understanding what you saying, let me look into this and call you back" she just hung up the phone. To make matters worse I have asked to speak with Dr. Mitchell, even showing up at his office to discuss the matter only to be told he didn't want to speak to me, because he doesn't do the billing. After about the 4th time of trying to speak to him he called, only to agree with the actions of his billing clerk. I will let everyone know that as a Doctor Mr Mitchell is good, as an office who treats their patients right they have a lot to learn and have lost me as a patient and… anyone of my friends who ask about a referral I will let them know that this is not the place to take your business.
