It is rare to find a specialist who spends enough time with patients. Dr. Smalling, however, is that much of a quality physician. He is interested and seems to want to help you get to the bottom of your health issues. Can't say enough great things about him and his staff.

I would highly recommend Dr. Ronnie Smalling and the entire staff at IN VEIN Smalling Vascular Institute. Doc Smalling and his dedicated team truly changed my life. I was suffering with severe Chronic Venous Insufficiency to the point my legs were always swollen, had open sores, and my legs hurt so badly all the time. I am retired and lead the volunteer traffic ministry at our church as well as other volunteer activities with our high school band. It had reached the point where my legs ached so severely after serving it was impacting my ability for normal life activities. After serving even one service, and especially after serving multiple services on Sunday morning, my legs used to hurt so badly it impeded my ability to do other activities for several days. I am so pleased to say my legs now feel great, and even after extensive activities my legs no longer hurt and I can lead a more active lifestyle. After thorough evaluation and venous screening of my individual situation… Dr. Smalling designed a treatment plan which included Radio-frequency Endovenous Ablation Therapy to shut down the Superficial Vein System (Great Saphenous veins and Small Saphenous veins in both legs) to drive the fluids back to the Femoral Veins (Deep Vein System), and a combination of Endovenous Laser Treatment VenaCure EVLT procedure and non-thermal ablation to shut down multiple perforator veins. Doc Smalling and team are extremely professional and meticulous with all care procedures and take a true interest in the personal care and well-being of their patients. Procedures are all completed using local anesthesia, and if you follow the post-procedure guidelines recovery is very quick. Doc and team are extremely patient in answering any and all questions. It is great having a care team where it is evident they care very much about their patients and helping them improve their health and life situation. Millions of Americans suffer from venous insufficiency, so if you are having issues with swelling or pain in your legs I would highly recommend talking with your primary care physician. The dr. takes time and answers all of your questions. Mary the ultrasound lady is well grounded in what to look for in test. Rob is excellent in ordering compression socks for you. Friendly,take care of everything that you need as a individual need. I have had 12 procedures done with them this past year.

Allowed a salesman into the treatment room during my vein procedure! He did not ask my permission. Totally unprofessional. I did not get his full attention during the procedure. When I confronted him about it he said he had to talk to his salesman and asked me if I would have rather he left the treatment room during my procedure! Unbelievable!

I had the most excellent experience being treated with VenaSeal glue for my dysfunctional superficial veins. Instantly I jumped off the procedure table and felt lighter and felt I could run a marathon. It's been an incredible experience.

Amazing office. Joyful, attentive, respectful of time. Dr. Smalling goes above and beyond answering questions. He even calls me over the weekend if I have left a message. Everything in their office is top notch. He's my vein doctor for the rest of my days!
