Best doctor O ever met

Dr. Waldrop was dismissive and condescending. We went to see a neurologist shortly thereafter and received great help.

The wait time was over an hour, but that is understandable because he works only at the Inova Lansdowne Hospital as a Pediatrician and is not associated with an office. The previous four doctors who saw my child, could not accurately diagnosis the disease. Dr. Waldrop brainstormed a few ideas with me, making sure I understood them all, and how we couldn't be too positive what was wrong because of child was only 44 days old. He came up with solutions that other doctors did not - and we were finally released from the hospital several days later. I wish he worked at an office as well because I want to change him to my infant's pediatrician!

Thank you Dr. Waldrop for all that you did to diagnose our precious daughter in the ER at OLOL in BR. You diagnosed her quickly and got us the specialized care that she desperately needed. Your fast actions and many, many prayers is why she is still with us today. She will celebrate her 3 year anniversary with her new heart on 3/31/10! God Bless you!

I brought my 4 week old baby to the ER with a fever. Dr Waldrop knew exactly what to do and began administering antibiotics immediately. Later we learned that he helped to stop any damage that my son's meningitis may have caused.For me, it's all about taking care of my baby. Dr Waldrop cared for us in the best way possible and we are very thankful.

Went in the day after I had surgery because I was having very intense pain over my whole foot/ankle. My orthopedic office told me to go to the ER because all the ortho's went home for the day but one was on call. We get to the ER and this doctor acts as if we are wasting his time, was very rude, unwilling to listen to my complaints about where the pain was etc. I also did not feel he was very sanitary- he stuck an ungloved hand under my splint and came very close to the incision. He hten told me that he didn't know how to rewrap the splint, yet as he said that, he proceeded to cut half of it off and made a huge mess.This is not the first bad experience I have had with this doctor. I will make a point to never use him again. Overall, he was very, very rude, acted like he didn't care, and was very unprofessional. We will certainly be filing a complaint about him to the board.
