Dr. Roopa Ganga, MD

I was Dr. Ganga's patient at St. Anthony's Hospital for 4 days for a bacterial infection on my face due to a previous surgery at a separate location. After testing for 2 kinds of bacteria, my results came back negative. She discharged me. My infection got worse and finally my primary care doctor determined the bacteria. I was prescribed several antibiotics upon my discharge which were useless. My visit to the hospital was a waste of time and money.

I strongly do not recommend anybody to see/make appointment with her

Answering service only. Referral cannot be given from dr to them. Only faxed by dr. Then 24/48 contact. Left multiple msgs by primary and self. No calls 2 1/2 wks later. So find another doctor if you are sick and need her soecualty

Dr. Roopa Ganga MD took care of my father when he was in Saint Anthony's she's very kind and very considerate she's also taking care of my mother that she was in st. Anthony's as well she's very knowledgeable and very committed to her patients health and safety. She's over all just a nice person in general not just as a doctor her bedside manners are very good

May be very qualified according to other doctors. Was rude, condescending, arrogant, did not take consideration that the patient was vulnerable and confused. Acted nauseatingly arrogant towards an older person at their most vulnerable. I could not sense any caring in this person.

Saw Dr. Ganga briefly in St. Anthony's hospital. Very briefly. It was a struggle to get to see her for discharge. She prescribed an expensive drug ($1200+ copay), and did not obtain pre-authorization from my insurance company. When I notified her I had severe side effects (Dizzy and fainting spells), she said I did not need to take the drug and discuss it with my primary care physician. In my opinion, I would recommend anyone select another doctor.

Not a very good doctor, there is better in Tampa, Fl.
