Dr. Roopsi Bassi, MD

Dr. Bassi is awesome! She really listens to you.She's very caring and I just love her. I definitely would recommend her. Never had her rush me out in the middle of a conversation.

I have been Dr. Bassi’s patient since she first came to Hattiesburg but am finally looking for a new doctor now. I’ve been struggling for a couple of months but she’s telling me that medically there’s nothing else she can do even though my medicine hasn’t been adjusted since February. I’m not ready to give up and go on disability but with the care I’m receiving, if something doesn’t change, that’s where things are heading.

I actually really enjoyed my visit with Dr.Bassi ,but my only complaint is that she is very time conscious. When it gets close to the end of your appointment time ,it doesn't matter what you are discussing she is quick to shut you down and push you out the door . Her final statement is one of ,we can get to know more of this issue at our next appointment 3 months from now .

This Dr. will cancel your appointments and move them a month ahead when you are dependent on the medication she has prescribed. There is no care or concern on her part. If you, or a loved one has made an appointment with this Dr. I advise you to consider any other Dr. in your area if you are in need of medications and the refills that come with them. You will be left with the option of having to seek care elsewhere at the last minute, or begin withdrawals and have to choose the emergency room to seek help.
