Dr. Rory Allen, DO

Julie at the Denton office is incompetent and uncaring. On two occasions she referred me to specialists only to find when I went there my medical records had not been sent. My condition requires therapeutic blood draws to alleviate high iron content. Julie would do nothing to help me get this done finally after six weeks her office finally submitted paperwork but I could not get through to Carter to make an appointment and Julie would not help me. I am seeking to file a complaint with the medical licensing board because I feel my health was compromised. Three times I called seeking assistance and no one answered the phone and there was no voicemail so I drove to the office for help. These people should not be allowed to practice medicine.

I wish I knew who the idiot is that posted "they are liars". If that person had any common sense, you should have said, " let me check with my insurance and then I will schedule whatever the appointment" was for.. You know, that is YOUR responsibility, not the Dr's office. Grow up and take respoonsibility for your own business. If you had taken the time to check out your situation, it may not have ended the way it did.. Dr. Allen is a great Dr.....

They are liars, they just want money. I called for a general physical because I new that I was going to lose my job, yet they submitted the insurance claim under a different code, which triggered charges to be covered from my own pocket. Also, while seeing the doctor, I asked several times if I had to pay anything from my own pocket for any of the services they were providing and they assured me that it was all covered by the insurance. Couple of weeks later I received 2 bills, I called the doctor's office to change the claim code and they refused, they also claim not to recall any of my questions when trying to confirm that all services were covered by my insurance.

I have seen Dr. Dan in this office. He and the nurses and the front office staff are very professional and polite. Dr. Dan listens carefully to his patients. I have never felt rushed and always given quality care.

Dr Allen is never there and runs his office via a nurse pratitioner. Now she is leaving. Multiple changeovers at this office and not a good place to go!

I absolutely love Dr. Allen, he has helped me and my family for years. He listens carefully and treats me like a human rather than a number. He really wants to help me get well, doesn't just write out a scrip and move to the next room. He is so awesome!! My kids love him too, they are no longer afraid to go to the doctor. He talks to them and explains things to them when he is treating them.
