Dr. Rosa Maria Gomez, MD

Dr. Gomez is one of the best physicians I’ve ever known. My late father was a clinical pharmacist and my late uncle an orthopedic surgeon, so I have a lifetime of experience with MD personalities and competence. I absolutely trust Dr. Gomez with my healthcare.

I don’t understand what kind of license you need to be able to read an ABO result. “Blood type” but apparently no one else in the office holds a license or certification that permits them to do so! Very frustrating that I could’ve gone to a blood drive and knew my blood type right away for free. With no doctors orders or signature required. Instead of now having to wait another entire weekend just for them to “maybe” call me with my results. I called the office at 10:33am and left a voicemail including my DOB for my results. No one called back. I called again at 3:44pm. Realizing that no one called back and then again at 4:40 because the office closes at 5pm. I wouldn’t have asked for the orders if it wasn’t important to me.

Overall, Im very happy w/Dr. Gomez. She seems well-informed and intelligent, she listens and is very easy to like. Waiting times are fine. Theres only been one time where I was unhappy with the wait time, and I think it may have been a special circumstance. Some of the staff can be rude, and they dont communicate with the patients as much as they should. They can seem a bit distracted, and not too interested in the patient.
