Dr. Rosalind Ann Freas, MD

Lectured my mother about irrelevant topics for 15 minutes during the office visit, shamed my mother, and would not perform a full body skin exam. I would never recommend this doctor. In a sea of doctors, find another!

I have been a patient of Dr. Freas for the past year and am very happy with her down to earth manner. She is trustworthy and does not talk you into unnecessary work. She has a very good hand at removing moles and not leaving scaring and is very attentive and patient. The staff at her office are also very friendly and efficient. I have been called on a Sunday from Dr. Freas office just to give me the results of my biopsy. My adult son also has visited Dr. Freas's office after being seen by 2 other dermatologists for his folliculitis and she was the only one who was able to provide a treatment that gave him relief. Very highly recommended.

I was very satisfied with my patient visit with Dr. Freas and her team. As a first time patient I was a little apprehensive as to what to expect but I was not disappointed. Dr. Freas was knowledgeable, was very sympathetic and a good listener. The prescription she prescribed has been very helpful to my condition. So far, I have had two visits with Dr, Freas and would definitely recommend her to a friend. The staff were also very friendly. Thank you Dr. Freas and team for your help!

My mom is 92 and has dementia. She has had a persistent rash which was very frustrating for both of us. Dr. Freas was recommended by Mom's primary doctor. Dr Freas and her staff treated my mom with kindness and dignity and that means everything to me. Dr Freas spent time with us answering all questions and gave tips. Dr Freas understood how difficult going to a doctor is for my mom and she and her staff handled my mom beautifully. I'm very grateful. There was laughter and joking and I watched my mom socializing. The rash has resolved and that is one less stress factor. I highly recommend Dr. Freas.

I am a new patient to her office. It was my second visit. On both occasions the staff was pleasant, informative and knowledgeable. On both occasions I was quickly acknowledged, diagnosed and treated. Light banter and serious information was shared. I felt respected and was mildly surprised at how quickly the Dr. generated important information about my dermotological history and treatment. I am very please that I found such a competent Dr, and such a well run office. Kudos!!!

I have been going to Dr Freas for over 12 years and have confidence in her and her staff. Her advise is helpful as well as informative. I recommend Dr Freas anytime I have an opportunity.

Dr. Freas I was meeting my husband who was on his way with our paperwork. I explained my husband would be there shortly with the papers. The receptionist rudely barked "that's why we have you come early..." as I handed her my two insurance cards and ID's, She reached down to gingerly shove a clipboard at me telling me to start again. I had my husband call the front again to remind he was enroute. When the doctor entered the examination room, she immediately dove into me for being frustrated with her staff (as they all stood by like backup singers while we spoke with the Dr- I have mistakenly been doing that behind the closed door, not here.) She did not ask why I had a problem with the front desk. She told me what a nice business they are and how nice their staff is and how they only want nice patients, and if we'd prefer to just leave without a copay- then to please do it. If a single person there had made even the smallest inquiry, they would learn I have a tremor in… my right hand from cardiac failure and a subsequent coma. JUST BECAUSE YOU CANNOT VISUALLY CONFIRM WHY THERE IS AN ISSUE, DOESN'T MEAN THERE IS NONE. I'm all health first- use that nifty computer to see my extensive and complete history and billing information. You would have seen I'm stricken unable to use my writing hand. Still feeling self righteous and proud of your behavior?

Gathered out door nodding - all of them, while the doctor (who spoke rudely to me) stated that she REALLY only cares to address skin cancer appointments. Then, one last insult as she clearly pointed out a sun spot on my cheek and gave me a sample square of sunscreen. She told me "you should see SomeOne though"

Sophomoric Rude Condescending staff. Dr. Rosalind Freas, MD was the rudest doctor I have had the displeasure of encountering.

I found Dr Freas to be a very personable professional! She took time to get a full history & examination. She took time to listen to me & to explain everything to me, including step by step with the procedure she did. Because this was urgent matter, her staff fit me in & got me in the office the next day & I am a new patient! She Did Not pitch moisturizers, something two other reviewers mentioned. I worried all night about her having an attitude, which was totally unfounded! She has a nice, clean office, friendly staff & she definetly knows her stuff. The procedure could have hurt like H-E- double hockey sticks, but she took her time to be sure I was nice & numb before starting. I felt nothing but an initial needle stick!! So glad I went to her!! Best dermatological exam I have ever had!!! I Highly Recommend! And Northrop/Grumman Families, she's on our plan.
