Dr. Rosalyn Louise Harrison, MD

Worst experience ever. Firstly she barged into the room, did not introduce herself, complained to the nurse that I did not want to reschedule my appt (the nurse kept saying that it was another pt and she said “no, it’s her who did not reschedule” as though I wasn’t sitting right in front of her. Without asking any Qs or asking to examine she wen right for my neck to examine my thyroid and then did a breast exam without asking and, in a hurried, non respectful tone. BTW the breast exam is no longer recommended for cancer screening. Then she goes on to say I don’t know anything about the world when she got to know I hv not been sexually active before marriage. The rest of the <5 mins appointment went with her not addressing my main concern. A clerk can do her job better than she did. I am a healthcare professional myself and this lady scared me to the point I feel like reporting her. Don’t book any appointments with her.

Went for an APE. Was in the waiting room for over an hour waiting to be seen after nurse check in. Since this was my first time seeing her i was giving her a run down of what my chart says and what's happened since then. She seemed highly judgemental about my medical conditions, the tests I've done, as well as symptoms I continue to have, regardless of test results. She insinuated I was a hypochondriac. Why? I guess because I'm knowledgeable about my medical history. I didn't just tell her I'm fine. She was also the least knowledgeable doctor I've ever had. As an internal medicine doctor you should have general knowledge of medicine in all specialties. Every question I asked was met with the response to speak with a specialist. She didn't seem to have any answers for me. She also didn't wear gloves when examining me nor I ever see her wash her hands. The only good thing was getting referrals for what I needed easily. I'm looking for a new primary next year.

An O.K. doctor. Denied patient request for a routine test and sent patient to another doctor who took the same test which was positive and could have easily been done at her office and treatment started.
