Unprepared. Ask me what my diagnosis was because " I read so many records I'm not sure which one was yours" Very reassuring! Does not know her anatomy..... she pointed to my collar bone when showing me where my scapula is located ( it's in the back shoulder area) where a PT had shown me. She looked at my MRI and miscounted the vertebrae had to recount. She was disorganized & unsure of what she was saying. She scheduled an appt. a procedure on my cervical spine which I quickly canceled. 1hr after my visit my PC called and based on the SAME MRI she recommended I go to a neurosurgeon. The MRI showed more issues than Dr.?? Bernal addressed. Again STAY AWAY!!

Cant diagnose problems, won't send you for and MRI, will make up lies about "why your have so much pain" will tell you that smoking causes pain, will not be of any relief for your years of suffering in pain. She couldn't even diagnose me, it took a real doctor 1 appointment to get my diagnosis. I've been on Morphine and oxycodone for 2 years and it's with no help from her, her answer for my crippling severe pain was an antidepressant, and talking to a therapist. I've never had depression and for her to suggest that is absolutely obsurd. Not a good doctor in anyway. Shouldn't even be called a doctor.
