I went to see Dr. Codini after my ultrasound result came back showing shadows of small gallstone as I am her patient already. When I saw her, without thoroughly re-examining how I feel or where my pain was, she just decided I need to have my gallbladder removed. I ask her if there is an alternative such as medication I can try first. She just shut me down and said itâ??s better to just have it removed so you will not have issues again. Start eating low fat diet! We pretty much watch we eat in and out of our home. Then she handed me documents to see the surgical team below the next floor below her clinic. To be sure I do not need to have my gallbladder removed, she… recommended to have HIDA also known as Nuclear Medicine Scan dedicated only to my gallbladder doneâ?¦. and the result came back â??NEGATIVEâ??. Therefore, I DO NOT NEED TO HAVE MY GALLBLADDER REMOVED!

Dr. Codini accurately diagnosed my cancer immediately, and with compassion, she told me about my diagnosis. She helped me to find an excellent surgeon and gave me support throughout the first stages of my recovery. She went way above and beyond what I would ever hope a doctor would do for a patient.

Dr. Codini referred me to a surgeon in Los Angeles who was able to operate on my Crohn's Disease and now I am symptom and pain free. She will be my gastroenterologist for life.
