Dr. Rosemarie Angella Pitt, MD

I called 5/12/2023 to check and see if this Doctor accepted my Insurance and the Receptionist was VERY RUDE! and sounded like she did Not want to HELP. You must be losing business having someone like that answering your calls. Awful!!!

Wanted to move my sons diagnosis to my pcp because we could not manage going there every month for 5 minutes so she could get her 150 bucks so he could get his prescription. She did nothing. She just wants her money. When I asked for his records. uhmm, her 5 minutes of work for 6 months, she said nope, when I am ready. At her discretion she can give us every document. But no, she wants her 150 buck for 5 minutes! STAY AWAY. Charlatan!

Dr. Pitt saved my life. I was severely depressed and suicidal, and she helped me immensely. I have had many psychiatrists in my life and I never have had any doctor take more quality time with me than Dr. Pitt. She is on the leading edge when it comes to pharmacology and natural methods to cure anxiety and depression using the Alpha Stim which is only available in the United States by prescription. She also has great compassion for all her patients. Although I had to switch doctors for health insurance reasons, I always recommend her to other patients I meet at DBSA (the bipolar support alliance) meetings in Orange County who are in need of a psychiatrist.

Also. the staff is verrrrrry rude Dr Pitt told me that she often puts the patients on a lot of meds because she sees better results! it worked out sometimes just fine.My daughter. Is a big girl. and is generally a very very nice person. I coulndt believe it she beat up 5 poor kids on a shcool bus and the bus driver! !!!!! Thanks a lot Dr Pitt

I dont usually write negative reviews for physicians, but I feel I must in this case. After waiting a month for an appointment, I had to wait more than an hour to see her. There were three patients ahead of me when I arrived, and that is very typical for this office. I wish that someone had called me to let me know they were running so late, because I left work early (and left work unfinished) to make the appointment on time. When I told the staff I had to leave, they were not apologetic. Dr Pitt is a nice person, but appointments barely last 10 minutes. I am afraid I can no longer recommend this practitioner.

Rude Staff

Dr. Pitt has been a total blessing for my wife who has seen her several times since last year. She is a good Christian woman who cares deeply for her patients.

Dr. Pitt is a great psychiatrist. She spends the time to make sure that your questions and concerns are addressed. You may have to wait but once you get in the world revolves around you and you are never rushed. My kids love her and thanks to her they are happy and doing well in school. The train tracks and dolls definately helps getting them in.

This is the 1st negative review I have ever written... usually I come on these sites to share good experiences.I'm New to the area and had to find a new doctor as a result. I went to Dr. Pitt to have my prescription for ADDERALL re-filled. Before finding ADDERALL I had tried various ADHD medicines but stopped them all because of unwanted side effects. ADDERALL worked well and I have not had any problems with it. Dr. Pitt insisted I try Vyvanse and wanted me to try it out before she wrote me one for Adderall. I had bad side effects including a trip to the emergency room because my eyes were rolling to the back of my head. I have never met a doctor that tried to fix something that wasn't broken. She wasted my time, money, and compromised my health. I didn't love being on adderall but I was ok with the side effects.In addition... it's a nasty waiting time with a scheduled apt.

Dr. Pitt has no medical competency. She cannot cleanse a wound or assess a heartbeat. She pushes sugar on to patients. She drugs her birth kids. Go see "Garden State." She gives diagnoses that do not fit symptoms. Delusion of nihilism is her favorite. She lies on insurance forms. Her long term drug reps find her funny because all psychiatrists' patients are fodder for the canon and Pitt is so obvious. Reps with brains stay competent to go back to managing stores at the mall. Pitt is a like a lot of psychiatrists, but Pitt has two extra features. Her kid sister is a New Ager with positive recordings on the answering machine. Rose Marie is a throw in the towel Christian while she nails Jesus to a cross. Pitt, who is registered as a Christian psychiatrist, actually hates Jesus Christ. She cannot stand the guy whether mortal fact or fiction. In addition, Rose Marie Pitt has invested in medical marijuana to make a profit. Do yourself a favor, find another psychiatrist.
