Dr. Rose Yu-Chin

Dr. Yu-Chin is an incredible psychiatrist. She is compassionate, she listens well, and she truly makes an effort to provide the best care possible. I started seeing her during the Covid-19 pandemic when I was having difficulty coping with how the virus was affecting my job. She not only changed my mindset but provided me the help I needed at a difficult time. I am truly grateful for her help.

Rude, entitled, impatient, can't be bothered, too good for patients who "can't afford me", and generally not someone who deserves any trust or responsibility for the mental health of another person

I have been seeing Dr. Rose Yu-Chin for few years. She has helped me tremendously. Always caring and to the point.

I had to see a new psychiatrist because mine retired. I have been on the same med schedule for 8 years. We had an issue with my meds and I called her in crisis mode because she messed them up. She then told me she could not treat me anymore. Do not expect this woman to help if you truly need help as many people do who go to psychiatrists. She wants an easy person to come and go and does not care about your needs, emotional state or well being. I’ve seen many psychiatrists in my years and her attitude is the worst. It can trigger someone who has mental illness.

Dr, Yu Chin is the Geriatric psych who calls in at my mom's NH. Very attentive, very smart about meds. I wish we'd found her sooner!

This doctor prescribes Prozac to everyone first, regardless of the individual history or traits. She was difficult to get hold of for a Monday emergency, and told me that she would not see me until Saturday. Her focus is not on understanding her patients, nor on choosing the best medicine for individual needs. She is not there when you need her, and will send you to a hospital instead (don't go there)

I have no idea how this doctor is practicing. First of all she is very disorganized when she gathered information and does not seem comfortable at all talking to patients, second she has no clue about medications. She wanted to start me on a medication and when I inquired whether it interact with my high blood pressure pill she did not know and suggested that I ask my medical doctor. When she asked me who was my former psychiatrist and I informed her, she spoke badly about him which I think was inappropriate and unprofessional. She was surprised to know later on that the only reason I stopped seeing him is because my insurance coverage has changed.In summary, do never go to this doctor.
