Dr. Roselyne Chery, MD

I had nothing but horrible experiences with this doctor. She erroneously claimed I was diabetic. She did not even inform of this herself. I saw her at a visit and she wrote a prescription for an unrelated illness. On my way out door she said for me to watch my sugar intake, that I had a high reading from last bloodwork. Upon entering my pharmacy 25 mins later, I retrieved my prescribed meds and a bunch of diabetic supplies including an Accu check device. I told pharmacist they mistakenly gave me someone’s diabetic supplies. The pharmacist insisted they were for me because 15 mins prior my physician called and ordered these supplies for me and stated I am diabetic. I told pharmacist Dr. Chery never said anything to me. The pharmacist stated Dr. Chery told her that she would call me by end of day to explain the diagnosis. She never called me. I called her office 4 different times in the next 3 weeks and explained in depth why I was calling and asked each time for Dr. Chery to call me.… She never once called me. At the 4 week mark I went to see Dr. Chery at my scheduled appointment. I voiced my anger about having her have a pharmacist inform me of her diagnosis. I also said I disagreed with her diagnosis. She became very smug with me and wanted to know what I based this on since I am not a doctor. I told her I was NOT given fasting bloodwork and the blood sample was taken at 2:00 pm, after I consumed both breakfast and lunch, various beverages and two snacks. Why would she think the blood sugar reading would be accurate? I demanded a fasting bloodwork. I was given such and as I suspected I am not diabetic, not even PRE DIABETIC! She never explains things and if you press her to do so she becomes somewhat agitated. When you point out mistakes she makes she really gets annoyed and NEVER ONCE was professional enough to say she was wrong. She makes excuses and at times blatantly lies to try and cover her sloppy care and/or record keeping etc. After a few months of her horrendous “care” I had enough. I dropped this witch doctor and have a new PCP. Avoid this quack at all costs. She is unprofessional and dangerous.
