Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I chose a career in psychiatry because it incorporates a patient's life history. Understanding each person's story and medical information are both important and interesting enough to learn about for a lifetime.What I want my patients to know about me:I believe working together with a patient yields the best results. I bring my experience and knowledge in psychiatry. The patient brings their own personal experience and knowledge about themselves.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy spending time with family and friends and my cat, Lucy. Travel to new places and revisiting favorite places is wonderful. I am especially drawn to the beach and the ocean.
