The physician seemed like a good doctor at the time, but later I found that I was billed PRO FEE fees for the conversations at the hospital when my son was admitted. I believe I was excessively billed for talking points. The bill was sent to me one year and three days after the service date and payment requested 10 days later (Dec 26), making research all but impossible during the season and coronavirus. Further, the billing was never submitted to the insurance company, and the insurance company then went directly to the physician. We have the best insurance PPO program for Florida Blue. I'm also a doctor, and a specialist beyond this doctor in infections. While I never mentioned this and let her talk, let this be a warning to families that this physician will bill for discussions. Keep the conversation short.

You need to quit interrupting the parents who knows their child better than you and listen to what they are trying to tell you. Also pause and let them ask questions it gets frustrating when you can’t get a word in.
