Great Savage

Dr Savage has a nice bedside manner. She spends time listening to my concerns and when necessary makes referrals to the appropriate specialists. I am very pleased with Dr Savage being my primary care dr. The staff is very professional.

I was diagnosed with anemia and I had pain in right side and reported the pain to Dr. Savage which she ignored on my first visit. Second visit I remind her of the pain and it is worsening, she glanced up at me with a sympathetic smile and ordered flagle (a parasitic/bacteria medication). Dr.'s nurse giving me difficulty over the phone about ordering blood infusion and tells me to be "patient". Now I lost it and tell her I've had enough patience and I am sick and I'm being ignored. Dr. Savage finally orders CT of my abdomen which shows large cancerous mass in my colin (Stage IV colon cancer). Does not bring me in office to tell me, but calls me in the evening to tell me over the phone that I have Stage IV cancer!
