Dr. Roshni Karnani, MD

Dr. Roshni Karnani is one of those doctors that's a diamond in a coal mine. I started seeing Dr Karnani almost 10 years ago for debilitating migraines. She worked with medicines, tests, therapeutics, diet, and supplements to get to the root cause to solve the issue. Dr Karnani was unwavering in her patience when my pain was out of control or a medicine didn't work. She never gave up. My quality of life returned and I moved to LA. When I returned, I had been hooked up with another doctor who just gave me pills and never looked at me during the 5 minute bi-monthly refill checkups. Just looked at my chart on the computer. When I returned to Dr Karnani, the migraines went away and I barely take any pills. She looks at me, not the chart, and she talks to me like an equal, not condescending like some doctors talk to patients. I now bring my family to Dr Karnani. Her goal is to have you get well. If that's what you want, this is your doctor. If you want to be seen as a person and not a chart,… this is your doctor. I've known quite a few neurologists and this is the winner. (There's also no wait times in the office, staff is very friendly, and everything is organized.)

Tried to schedule an appt gir an EMG for my husband. Because he has an open no fault claim they refused to see him even tho this was not no fault related. They even had me call Medicare which I did. When I called back I was told she does not see patients with any no fault claims.

After visiting many neurologists in Westchester, I finally googled Dr. Karnani and made an online appointment. Her front office immediately contacted me to confirm my appointment and all the forms were taken care online. I had been battling with my symptoms for past 5 years but no neurologist in the past was able to diagnose my condition. Within two weeks of visiting Dr. Karnani and getting all the appropriate tests, I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune condition - she immediately started me on treatment - I have not felt this great in the past 5 years - all thanks to her. Am really grateful to her!

listened to all my problems patiently - never felt rushed with her - whereas I have other doctors who see me only for 5 minutes - she spent great deal of time with me and discussed several different options for treatment.

Dr. Roshni Karnani is a very professional knowledgeable doctor presently treating my husband for Parkinson's. She is patient, warm and understanding and recognizes how difficult it is for an elderly person who has rarely been ill to no longer work and to become familiar with taking a strong medication with many side effects. She takes his phone calls or returns them promptly which inspires much confidence. Words fail to describe how much her kindness has meant to us during this difficult time. We feel that he is in the best possible hands.

It is amazing to see that in this day and age a woman who is not only an intelligent neurologist but also a caring and compassionate person - also she does not give in to the quacks who wrote nasty reviews here below- I am a witness to an incident in the office where patient threatened the staff and the doctor when she refused to write oxycodone prescription for that patient - the doctor opened the door for the patient and asked that patient to leave as the staff was about to call the cops - the patient then threatened the staff and doctor to ruin their reputation online - the doctor then replied "you can do whatever you want - it is a free country". Both my parents are patients of Dr. Karnani for the past 6 years and she has provided excellent care for my parents all along. She treats all patients with respect and she certainly does not give in to patients who threaten her or her staff. Patients who read reviews of doctors before choosing the right doctor should also keep in mind how… patients abuse doctors to have their secondary gains satisfied. Words cannot explain the disappointment I feel for dr. Karnani. This is the second time she has mislead me and gave me false information. I’ve been suffering the past 3 years with MS symptoms. My MRI confirmed lesions. She agreed to start treatment because of my symptoms and visible changes. She sent me for my annually updated mri, said there wasn’t any changes since last year, therefore took back her word and called this fibromyalgia. I’ve never been more disgusted in my life., Very poor judgement. You don’t say one thing in a previous appointment, then completely change it the next one. If I had to take a guess she did it for the money from my insurance company. I will not be returning, as a matter of fact, I feel I should let the insurance company aware of such a scam. Fibromyalgia does NOT cause brain lesions. I WILL NOT accept that as a diagnosis.
