Personal
Dr. Ross Bennett resides in Cape Girardeau and enjoys spending time with his wife Jocey and 2 children. His other interests include sports and music. After graduating from Cape Central High School, Dr, Ross was drafted by the Montreal Expos (now the Washington Nationals) to play professional baseball. He turned down the offer and was later honored to be named 1st Team Academic All-American as well as 1st Team All Big XII Conference while playing baseball at Baylor University.
Dr. Ross is very active in the community. He has been a speaker at several local elementary, junior …high, and high schools. Dr. Ross has volunteered to perform dental screenings at local schools as well as participated in the "Give Kids A Smile" program. Dr. Ross states, "Teaching and working with youth have always been passions of mine. Throughout my education, I have been blessed to learn from some of our nation's top instructors. I find it a privilege to pass that knowledge on to others. I have enjoyed speaking at several local schools about dentistry and look forward to sharing more about oral health in this community."
Dr. Ross Bennett is regularly featured on the television program "Ask Your Doctor." Past episodes are available for your viewing at the website www.askyourdoctor.tv and the program airs every Thursday night at 8:00pm. In 2010, Dr. Ross become the first and only dentist in Southeast Missouri to be SomnoMed certified for Sleep Apnea appliances. Dr. Ross teams up with local physicians to treat patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
