Invisalign® Invisible Braces: Finally!
So many of our patients are bothered by crooked teeth but just don’t want to bother with the discomfort and appearance of traditional braces.  This is why we are so excited to feature the Invisalign® system of invisible braces!  With Invisalign®, patients are able to correct crooked teeth while wearing ultra thin, clear plastic aligners that are virtually undetectable to observers, even up close.  To begin the Invisalign® process, an impression of the patient’s teeth is taken and sent to an Invisalign® laboratory, where aligners will be created with the patient’s unique treatment plan in mind.  The patient wears each set of aligners for a set period of days, and then moves on to the next set to gradually shift the teeth into the proper position and alignment.  Invisalign® can be used to treat a wide range of cases, and treatment is usually complete in about the same amount of time as with metal or ceramic braces.  Unlike traditional braces, which can irritate the gums and attract food, Invisalign® braces can be removed for easy cleaning and eating.  With Invisalign®, our patients in the Overland Park and Kansas City area achieve beautiful, straight smiles in comfort, convenience, and in private.
