Dr. Ross Allan Morgan, MD

Our experience with Dr. Ross Morgan & his team has been very disappointing and honestly makes me, as a parent, feel powerless and just forced to accept the terrible care we got and just live with the terrible results given to us. A day after surgery my sons ear bled and the on call doctor, Dr. David Miller called me back. He was not empathetic and made me feel like I was bothering him. He also said I could do a few options, leaving it up to me - which is unnerving when I called to get help. We went to the follow up appointment and saw a PA, Emily. Once the bandage was removed I was very alarmed at how big the incision was and the big gap it had. She said she could put a steri strip on it to pull it together or to leave it, that it was up to me. Again, I don't know which to choose - they should know. The PA said she would ask the doctor but to clean it twice a day with peroxide and put neosporin on it and leave to air dry, for 5-7 days. I questioned that. It's now understood to not… let wounds get scabs for better healing and scarring. She didn't know and said that scarring can be treated later. I got a 2nd opinion from a doctor. She said to NEVER use peroxide as that dries it and to use vaseline and a bandage to keep it covered as it healed. She even further gave me future care advice for the scar and said to be sure we used sunscreen or a lotion with SPF 15 to protect the scar as it heals for the year. The wound is healing but it still has the gap and it so much bigger than it needed to be, so I question Dr. Morgan as a surgeon.
