Dr. Roxana Lourdes Cruz, MD

Tried to get in to see Dr. Cruz because of illness. Was gonna be 1 week before I could be seen by her. Her office manager recommended I see a PA associate of hers in Emory. I did not think this was professional after Dr. Cruz had told me she would work me in if I became ill. I will change medical professionals when I can change insurance.

Dr Cruz sent me to have a sleep study. Dr. Philp was suppose to send the settings of the breathing machine to Dr cruz. then Dr cruz would order the machine. Dr. philp refused to send the settings inless I made an appt. with him. This would be another rip off of medicare/BC so I did not go to philip. Dr C. told me they had all the info they need. But, they did not have the setting for the machine. All cruz had to do was call the med. records at the hospital to get the info. but,it has taken 4 momths and est. 30 calls to get her to call for the info. needed. She got the info by making the call and I have been informed the machine should be shipped next week. I think I talked to ever person in the office 3 times except The one with the big EGO. After 4 mos she still won't answer the phone. All the others gave me a different answer each time I call. After I got bad input from them I started making calls often. Then they became rude but, atleast the machine is on its way… (Ihope). I would NOT give even one star rating to this office. Now I will be trying to locate a Doctor that is qualified to do the job. All of them seem to be stealing from medicare. That is why we can't afford insurance.

Dr. Cruz has been treating my parents and shows so much compassion and takes time to listen to their lengthy stories of their ailments, never making us feel rushed. She has been very quick to send them for any testing needed and follow up has been fantastic. I would highly recommend Dr. Cruz!

I arrived 7 minutes late and was refused to be seen, and I asked about changing doctors as I had driven a long distance and could not see her. The lady at the front desk became very rude and shoved a form at me to request medical records then slammed the window shut. Dr. Cruz also seems to be one that loves to milk medicare for every unnecessary test she can get by with. No I will not see her again.

About the worse doctor I've ever had, she is cold and very snappy doesn't listen always talking over you. Never step foot in that office again!
