Dr. Roxanne J Kane, MD

I came in for a same day visit. I was 10 minutes late and the provider still saw me (thank you!). Dr. Kane was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. At the end of the visit I realized the incorrect pharmacy was listed, and a prescription was send to the wrong pharmacy. I then recalled that the nurse tried to verify my preferred pharmacy and said "on Bluemound?" And I agreed for some reason. So that's on me, sorry! But Dr. Kane asked me which was the preferred pharmacy and made the change immediately. We were able to pick up the prescription later that evening. Thank you!!!

Even though the circumstances for the visit was tense, seeing the doc is always a relief. I enjoy the dynamic Dr. Kane and the nurses have together. Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement.

Very pleasant and informative

Thank you for getting us in same day. We looked at urgent care at 3:30pm and appts were already booking past 8pm. Since that is after bedtime, we were so happy to be able to get a same day appointment at the clinic!

My regular pediatrician was unavailable so I was placed with Dr. Kane for my well baby appointment for my infant. I do baby-led weaning (BLW), and Dr. Kane had never heard of it. She was completely dismissive and said things that are incompatible with what scientific studies are showing. She was dismissive of any inquiry I had that was not in line with what she thinks. I would never go see her again. I tend to lean towards more natural practices (after doing research and being fully informed), and she completely judged everything that I am doing. I have never felt so unheard by a provider.

My son started seeing Dr. Kane at the age of 14. Due to a switch in insurance coverage we could no longer stay with our current doctor. With every visit I have become more and more angry with Dr. Kane's bedside manner. She rushes through the appointment dismissing anything I may ask her. She talks down to both myself and my son and shows absolutely no interest in him what so ever. This most recent appointment I had my husband take him to see her thinking this may just be me. Needless to say, he came home feeling pretty much the same way I do when I leave her office. We will be switching our son to a different doctor who cares about him and his care for future appointments. I would not recommend Dr. Kane to my worst enemy!

I have interacted with Dr. Kane on a number of occasions when my regular pediatrician was out of the office or she was the on call Dr. I have found her to be difficult to work with. My very first experience was with her scolding me because I wasn't "paying attention to my child" - my daughter had an ear infection and didn't show any of the regular signs. Other times I've dealt with her she has dismissed my questions and concerns, talked down to me and rushed through appointments. The other doctors in the practice are AWESOME and so we continue with them, knowing it means occasionally dealing with Dr. Kane.
