Dr. Roxanne Valentino, MD

I agree with the other comments about rude and poor bedside manner. SHE CHARGED ME AN OFFICE VISIT TO FIRE ME after being her patient for years. I wouldnt pay cash for an experimental MRI at Vanderbilt that my insurance wouldn’t pay for and that the doctors at the Parkinson’s Foundation recommend against. She said she could no longer treat me without the latest technology. What Dr does that? This one. I loved her but cannot in good faith recommend a Dr who would shake a Parkinson’s patients already shakey world. There aren’t that many neurologists in my area, so I’m going it alone now. Thanks Dr V.

She lacks compassion and empathy. At one point in the visit and conversation she was extremely cruel and belligerent.

Dr Valentino was a big comfort to me for she made me feel like she was determined to help me. As long as there is something that can be done

I was unbelievably impressed!

After a car accident that resulted in a severe head injury, Dr. Valentino gave me the exact medications and counsel I needed to get through this traumatic time! She is very caring, and very knowledgeable of her field! With your head cut all across your head, some to the bone, you need the best ... and I think I found her!

Really pleased with Dr. Valentino but I learned she did not take my insurance--Principal or Humana. I hope she will consider taking Humana because that is the only obstacle to me going back to her. Her office staff did tell me they took Humana but we ended paying out of network. It did not break the bank but would have been a lot cheaper in network.

She was rude, unprofessional, uncaring, uncompassionate, disruptive, (did I mention RUDE). Maybe she WAS having a bad day but I have bad days and wouldn't treat anyone like I was treated!! I WILL not be following up and WILL not be recommmending her to anyone.
