Dr. Roy Allen Defries, MD

Dr. DEFRIES delivered me and has been my doctor my entire life, as well as most of my family. He is very kind and takes the time to really listen to you. He actually cares and takes the time to really study your chart. I'm blessed to have had him there for as long as I have.

Dr Defries is a good Dr. Not worth going through his staff. They are rude, and refuse to follow up on his instructions; taking weeks to schedule tests only when you call back. They have no interest in keeping patients when you have a problem. They just ask you to leave. It's a shame, I always enjoyed his bedside manner.

Dr. Defries is amazing. Kim, his lead nurse is also amazing....I love her. His front desk staff needs to be fired....his wife needs to find another hobby than spending time in his office. Very very very unfriendly person. Makes sure you KNOW she is his wife...who cares!!!!!!!! She needs to get a job elsewhere.

I have been doctoring with Dr. DeFries for 30 years! I absolutely love him. He is very patient and kind at all times!

I've been treated by Dr. Defries for as long as I can remember. He always takes the time to listen to what I have to say, and I feel like he really thinks about my case and discusses it with me, rather than giving me a blanket diagnosis/prescription. He is willing to prescribe needed medication, but he also talks to me about some natural remedies like exercise, diet change, etc. I would recommend him to anyone. When I got married in 2003, my husband started going to this office. He's also felt like he's well taken care of.

He is a very kind and understanding person and takes the time to listen. But his front desk leaves a lot to be desired. The "one" that everyone thinks is so hateful is his wife. She never smiles, is very impolite and refuses to look anyone in the eye. All I can say is opposites really do attract.

Was a good experience. He listens to what I have to say and offers his opinion and is willing to try my ideas if they are sound. He is a holistic practitioner and I highly recommend. He is supportive of patients taking an active part in their care. A+++ Rating by me.

The only issue I have ever had with the office is the staff. The front office staff are very rude and when you go into the office they don't even make eye contact with you they are not caring at all if Dr Defries wasn't such a great Dr I wouldn't go to him. I also don't like that when you go for a appt they don't process your payment for 3 to 4 months later. This is very disturbing to me.I don't like waiting for my payment to be processed. Makes me very angry. Now the nurse and Dr Defries are WONDERFUL love them

Dr. DeFries has been my physician for many years. His professionalism and knowledge are my highest grading standards. He keeps abreast of new developments, yet is humble and kind. I also know him outside the office, and he and his family are all good friends of mine. He has my utmost respect as a doctor and as a person.
