I am a Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgeon at St Luke's University Health Network. My practice is dedicated to the treatment of chronic pain, movement disorders and various spinal disorders. I am a strong proponent of personalized care. I believe that in the care of each patient a conscious effort needs to be placed on personal values and desires. Although not every clinical decision can be made solely on personal preferences, a patient’s perspective on their individual needs to be understood and valued.
I completed my medical studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and neurosurgical residency at West Virginia University. I then completed my training with a fellowship in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery fellowship at Albany Medical Center. During my time there, I developed advanced skills and techniques in neuromodulation for chronic pain and deep brain stimulation for movement disorders. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. We enjoy traveling and enjoying outdoor activities such as swimming and hiking.
