Dr. Roy H Johnson, DDS

Dr. Johnson has been practicing dentistry in Marietta for over 35 years. He received his B.A. from Beloit College in 1963 and finished his studies at Ohio State University in 1967. He studied Advanced Dentistry at LD Panky Institute from 1973-1984 in Miami Florida. He received his F.A.G.D. in 1983. He was a Captain in the US Army from 1967-1969. He is a member of the American Dental Association and Georgia Dental Association. Dr. Johnson has obtained many awards over the years including Cobb County Dental Society Service Award in 1988 and Fellow of Academy of General Dentistry in 1983. Dr. Johnson loves the game of golf he has continued to stay involved in the sport over the years. He was the captain of the golf team in 1963 at his university. He received the Ga State Golf Association Service Award in 1993. He has continued to be involved with several committees within our community. Dr. Johnson was involved with the Executive Committee of the Georgia State Golf Association from …1988-1991. He also was a member of the Emeritus Board of Directors for the Georgia State Golf Association and the Executive Board of the Atlanta National Golf Club from 1991-1994. Dr. Johnson was the President of Indian Hills Mens Golf Association in 1978. He qualified in the United States Senior Open Golf Championships in 1991and then in the United States Mid-Amateur Golf Championships he qualified in 2000. He has played in Four British Senior Amateur Golf Championships and Three British Mid-Amateur Championships as well.
